Who will walk with me down the road of life?
Who will be my husband and I his loving wife?
Who will be with me in life's sorrow and pains?
And share with me in joy and happiness?
It's not much that I ask of you, but still I must know. If not you than who?
I need somone who will understand me,
And who in his eyes love I shall see.
He will help me to carry life's heaviest burdens.
And in my grey skies be the bright warm sun.
Could it be that you love me as I do you?
If not you than might I ask who?
Ah love could it possibly be true? That you want me to stand next to you?
Walk down the aisle and stand by your side.
Place my hand in yours and look in your eyes.
Recite my vows promising myself to you.
