Please Don't Leave Me {Lyden}

Silent people have the loudest minds.

My muzzle was strictly to the ground, lipping through dead vegetation, and a few mouthfuls of thawing grass began to grind under my teeth. I wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings, that is, until I nearly ran into a tree. Instantly my head shot up in surprise and I was a hair length away from an instant headache. A sigh escaped my nose as I realized how dreadful that could've been. Moving on I walked back towards everyone else and noticed the paler figure of Lyden.

Most equines would call out or at least warn the other party, but no I stayed silent. Making my way over towards Lyden's side and nudging him in the shoulder with mine. This wouldn't alter his sense of balance, given the fact I was considerably smaller than him. Offering a warm smile I greeted him brightly. Long time no see stranger. I teased lightly and tilted my head slightly to remove a lock of hair from my face.

I looked at the ground and noticed it was muddy. A faint frown pulled my lips and I looked at Lyden. Lyden...winter is dying. Just then I realized how that sounded and my ears perked forward as I laughed. Goodness, how childish. Looking over at the blue eyed stallion my gaze was warm. Been busy much? Don't work yourself too much alright? Make sure you sleep and eat well. The last sentence was more of a demand really. Though, I meant it in the most caring way possible.
