Love all your perfect imperfections

She’d forgotten how tiring being pregnant and child birth was

Her body changed In ways that made her feel constantly exhausted and even though from watching others in the common grounds or even in the paradise with Sahin’s herd, Sylvia seemed to hold herself together better than most. Images of how uncomfortable some of her brothers mares were and seemed when she had run into him about a week back made her realize just how lucky our prudent pearlino was. Pregnancy affected each mare differently and for her it wasn’t to awfully bad just tiresome

A scream echod for what could have been miles through the ridge and Sylvia’s entire physic stiffened

Instantly her ears went forward while pale nostrils flared breathing in rapidly like she had while giving actual birth to her son Elliot who stood feeding from her. All around her birds chirped unsure of what exactly to do with such a high pitched demanding wild stallion cry but in her bones Sylvia knew that her beloved had finally come home

Carefully Sylvia twisted her head around to nudge her son before moving forward

Having his meal be disturbed caused a confused snort followed by a squeal but he followed directly behind his mother afraid to lose sight of her. Her son is a solid copper ton with black legs followed by his mane and tail. On his right side and only right side was a rather big patch of white somewhat like one of the ones she had herself but instead of having a couple he just has one. Instead of being perfectly set too it was directly in the middle of his barrel and it stopped just before his back, haunches and shoulders, dropping around down to the bottom of his stomach.

His marking was unusual much like his uncle Lyden’s were and that constantly made Sylvia smile

A loud thud in the trees startled Elliot which caused him to rush into his mother as Sylvia made her way down the rocky edge at a side. Dust swarmed them and rocky fell from their feet making the steady walk to be very confusing for Elliot. He mostly just rushed forward and leaned into his mother for support before they finally hit sand. Relief washed over the young stud colt once this happened and as Sylvia paused for a brief moment Elliot perked his own ears forward wondering who they were going to meet

Midas was on the ground and even from where she stood Sylvia could see his gash

Sea blue spheres widened with worry as she moved towards him at a low trot calling to him before nickering lowly as she slowed to a walk then halt near him. She dropped her nose to his before rubbing her forehead against his damp one feel the cool seawater against her. ”you took much longer then I was hoping, I began to worry something happened to you” she paused trailing off ”but I can see something did. What happened to your shoulder love? It looks very irritated and painful”

Lifting her head up Sylvia stood guard near him and Elliot came around his mother’s right side

He stared curiously at the being who just laid in the cool sand, he couldn’t understand why the stallion wouldn’t get up but he sort of figured this was his father. Sylvia explained to him earlier that he’d eventually meet his father – Midas the greatest and last king of Atlantis and he shimmed golden in the sun as though he was a part of it. Being so little Elliot of course didn’t understand most of it but he could see that this guy matched the golden part of what his mother said. Sylvia on the other hand cut through his thoughts but pushing him forward slightly to get close to the strange man ”meet our son honey, I thought the name Elliot fit”
