Of course the other male in Naamah's life has to make an appearance. Really though if he had decided to forgo seeing Naamah after the birth then Enderly would have thought less of him. Not that he much cares for the idea of Samil. The male is the only thing that stands in the way of Enderly and the dark female that nurses both their children. It might take the fun away if Samil were to up and disappear though; still, Enderly has become a mite possessive over Naamah as of late, his fantasies of them growing and growing the more time he was away. It was rather quite strange to the clever beast for he could almost describe his feelings as attachment and Enderly had never had such attachments before. It made his mind fuzzy with things like jealousy and lust.
The sound of movement behind him causes him to turn his head slightly as the male appears and casually brushes past him. Enderly's face is apathetic to the conversation - did Samil attempt to tease him? If he didn't already expect the male he might have taken the bait. Instead he just lowers his haunches and watches the pair. It seems as if Samil is as resigned to the fact that Enderly is around as he is to Samil so when Samil turns and begins to talk to him Enderly's lips twist into a sly smile. Duty? No, Enderly had no duties excepting his newfound fatherly ones.
"I suppose it does not," he says with a shrug of his shoulders. Where Samil thought of violence to end such visitations for Enderly and Naamah, Enderly thought of clever ways to entice Naamah to his side. Sweet nothings that she seemed surprised when whispered from his mouth and thoughtful offerings - which really were thoughtful considering how selfish he truly was. To be truthful though he was disappointed she had turned down his enticing offer of fidelity. And it wasn't like Enderly to be disappointed, not when there were so many other beautiful females out there. Naamah had set a spell upon him and if he could tell, upon Samil as well. What a clever little minx.
Naamah attempts to steer the conversation to amicable waters although Enderly wasn't about to start any fights here anyways. Fighting wasn't quite his style but hey, his style changed whenever his mood suited him. Turning his mercurial eyes from the object of Naamah's affection he once more looked upon the children. Both males seemed to hold Naamah's attention and thus it seemed fitting that they should both have a child of hers. He cocks his head with a knowing grin as she tries to make Samil believe they were his kids. He doubted the male was stupid when the pup looked so closely like Enderly but as long as Samil didn't harm them he could think what he wanted. Certainly Enderly would still be around and in both children's lives as they grew. Mayhap he'd have someone to teach his riddles to.
Enderly stands now and stretches with a large yawn before shaking his unruffled fur out. "Three is a bit of a crowd, darling. I trust that your other half can see to it that no harm comes to any of you. I shall be about the grotto. Maybe I will find you some more of those eggs you so liked, hmm?" It is a subtle barb, a reminder that he has spent recent time with her bearing gifts, but he does not wait around to instigate any more problems - not with his pups or pup so close. Instead he turns and trots out of the cave before stretching his legs into an eager lope; the grotto would keep him busy for now and perhaps he'd find some suitable company while he waited around to watch the pups grow.
