It was weird not feeling like I had any sort of purpose, truth be told. I did feel a little bit lost, just wandering the world, hoping to come across something interesting. It was a little... dull. Though I wasn't one to go seeking out danger, going from a life full of danger to something so... vanilla was a bit disheartening. I had been traveling, hunting for myself and sleeping underneath the stars. The biggest 'danger' I had faced was a fox getting a little too close to my latest kill. The blood had long faded from my white chest by the time I reached Moladion, and for the first time I smelt the scent of many wolves, something that reminded me of my own home. I had left because there was nothing there for me, but yet, I found myself becoming a little homesick. It was a crappy feeling, something I didn't appreciate, but those lonely nights under the stars made me wonder if I had made the right decision.
But as my white paws carried me into these new lands, lands I had never seen before, somehow home didn't seem too far away anymore. Civilization, it seemed, thrived here. And I was sure if I looked hard enough I'd find some packs, too. Not like I was interested in joining up, but it was always good to know your surroundings.
I walked towards the rocky landscape, the spring air feeling cool as it ran through my well-kept fur. I looked around, ever wary, not keeping my guard down for a second. These lands didn't seem hostile, but it was always best if I kept my wits about me. I twitched my ears as I came to a stop in front of a yawning cave mouth. The abyss stared up at me with a strange sort of hostility, and I turned my nose up at it. What the hell was that cave's problem? It didn't have to act so goddamn scary. I snorted and turned away from the cave, content to leave it and it's pseudo-scariness behind me, because quite frankly, I didn't really care what was down there. Maybe a sentient mole colony or something, but you know what? I'll never know. And I was pretty content with that.
There seemed to be a lot of caves around here and I skirted around them the best I could. I shivered as the air picked up and I looked towards the sky, noticing the grey clouds as they rolled in. I made a beeline for an overhang a little ways away, and managed to slip underneath it, not before I was drenched by the stupid sky. I grumbled as the water dripped off my coat and onto the ground below me. I inched as close as I could to the back wall of the overhang, growling at the sky when it growled at me. "Y'know what would be awesome?" I mumbled to myself, shooting a glare up at the sky. "If you could shut the hell up, sky. And also if you could stop throwing your rain down at me, please."
