It had been his great moment of weakness. His first venture as a lead stallion and what had he let happen? He had let his rage get to him. He had let his desires get to him. It had been unforgivable. It made him feel hypocritical for his feelings about Mercury and Felony. How could he hate a male for taking what was his by law when he had done much the same. He had given Cut up Angel her space, even as he had watched her belly grow. Strangely, now he half wished that his action had not resulted in a child.

He could not deny it. And so his guilt had grown.

Now, she had disappeared and as with Fly, Soljor suspected the reason. She was going to foal. He had thought long and hard over what he was going to do. He had almost said it several times before. He could not force himself to though. Every time he had looked at her, he had remembered her temper and his own and he would turn to Fly or Acelynn and try to forget again.

Now though, there was no more denying it.

He turned his thoughts to tracking down the grey mare. Her scent was easy to follow on a clear spring day like today. And so he happened on her foaling ground. He stopped though, watching the pair like Stardust and Fly. The filly looked very much like her sister - like himself. Painted with white and black. He sighed and dropped his head. She was beautiful.

“Cut up Angel,” He called, his voice was low. “I -“ how to begin? He could not earn, nor did he feel he deserved her forgiveness. The best he could do was set her free. He intended to do just that.
