One would not have been expecting the smaller equine that finds himself approaching her. She had not after all. Latte was a little surprised though; she is not shocked. she is not disgusted. Intrigued maybe, but not turned away by this. So he was smaller. Really was it such a big deal? The palomino sabino doesn't believe so. Why should size matter all that much if you got along? He wasn't the tiniest thing out there anyway. Foals were smaller and she's sure he won't be the last to be shorter than most of the equine around here. It was a little comical as she hadn't been expecting this but then, she would never out-right say such a thing. Merely in the back of her thoughts honestly. Where it would remain of course.
There is quick inquiry to who she was and that this was Dogun's Inlet now. She can only imagine that the leader is this small stallion. Why else would he approach her as such and make a specific note of who ruled here? It was logical for him to be in charge. "I am Latte and this;" she murmurs gently, "Is my home." She falls quiet for a moment or two as she studies him. What was this little man all about? She wonders of course as anyone might. Was he kind and sociable? Was he cruel and ruthless? No, he doesn't strike her as vicious in the least. Wary of her but then, she's a stranger to him just as he was to herself. "I've grown up on the islands. Perhaps I was a legend once but times change so very much." She tilted her nose a little and smiled to think of the seasons and years past. How much things did change.
"I do hope that you will not turn me away. I can only imagine that you must be Dogun? I am not here to bring harm to your own. Only to remain where I find comfort in what I consider home." Was there anything wrong with that? No, Latte doesn't think so. Replies:
