Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Only crime and the criminal

Felony stays quiet as he watches the mare speak and only his eyes follow her to the shadow the twisting canopy of the Lagoon offers. It seemed she was more than willing to give this new life a try and the fire in those dark eyes made a smirk crawl across Felony’s dark lips. He had been more than prepared for the whining and complaining since that seemed the general mare way when brought here into this swamp but Zhenya was embracing it, even thanking him which was a first.

Finally moving the stallion steps over to stand with Zhenya again but not as close this time, giving them space but it would not last. The pesky insects that bite irritatingly against his dirty hide caused the stallion’s tail to snap from one flank to the other but the dirt was so thick upon his skin it would not be as bad for him as it might for another. Another roll later would insure for a better layer of protection against the buzzing pests and to hide the white that was beginning to show again to suggest his markings to be paint.

“I’m sorry for my assumptions.” Felony said but by his tone he was far from that. The stallion had yet to find reason to be sorry for anything. He did not regret, instead he just moved on just as the world did around him. “Perhaps I have kept company with too many fillies in my life that I do not know what to expect from a woman.” But that was a lie. He knew exactly what to expect from a mare and the painful memory of Alex flared up in his mind. But Felony did not show what went on through his head, his golden eyes remaining cold as they stayed fixed upon her face.
