I took my dog out for a run this morning and ended up along Rattle Hill Road in Southampton, Ma. As I came up Wolcott Rd turning onto Rattle Hill Rd I saw a very large cat,(probably about 100 - 120 lbs), a very similar color to my Yellow Lab, a smooth Tan like color. It had large muscular legs and paws and a very long tail. It moved gracefully across the road in front of me.
I have seen many Bobcats in my life and this did not resemble any that I have encountered. Not sure if I should be reporting to the Police or if they will pat me on the head and tell me that there are no Mountain Lions in Western Mass.
