THE SEA KNOWS THE TASTE OF BLOOD.

Every time she let the ocean swallow her, she felt stronger. Even struggling against the strange currents and the tides here, the water seemed to invigorate and refresh her. Her blood grew hot in the water, and the salt didn't seem to sting her eyes as much. It was as if her great sea god was thanking her for returning to his seas and in return he carried her swiftly to the next island.

She rose from the ocean just as she assumed the undead rose from their graves. Letting the froth of the water carry her, her hooves claw at the gravelly sand as she lands. It is cooler here, and the trees are more familiar. Much like her homeland, the trees were great evergreens and pines that thickly lined the land further from the ocean. Though, unlike her birthplace, there were no cliffs that cut out into the sky, leaving this place relatively flat. As she examines the land, she walks further inland, finding some well travelled trail that she assumed newcomers to this herd followed when they arrived.

Through the thick piney air, she smelt more horses. Mares and stallions. Letting a frown furrow its way across her lips, she is coming to the realization that all the islands away from the peak were inhabited by herds and herds alone.

Flipping her ears back, she suspects she will be greeted by a stallion before anyone else once again. Deciding it best to proceed with caution, the black mare continues slowly and cautiously into the terrain. It does not take long, though, for her to be confronted with the large, muscular mass of a blue mare. Stopping in front of the other woman, Leviathan sets her feet and snorts loudly, expecting some sort of confrontation that might end violently. She hopes that her bruises have healed and that she was still able to be intimidating, despite being a great deal smaller in bulk than the other mare. Lowering her head a bit to leave her chin even with the height of her shoulders, she stares up at the woman with dark eyes.
