The crags had become one of his more familiar haunts, he often found himself returning the rocky landscape for whatever reason. Perhaps the barrenness reminded him of home. Renegade still hadn't confronted his feelings about what had happened to him back in the desert and maybe he never would. He was quite content to push those thoughts to the back of his mind, and just simply forget about those memories. He snorted as he traversed the unstable landscape, instead of concentrating on the things within him he focused his energy on not slipping off of the rocks. There was no reason to focus on things in the past, things that couldn't be changed. Now that he was away from that wretched wolfess Rogue and Glorall he was a bit less grumpy. That had been truly awful.
Renegade snorted as he remembered how they had tried to keep him there, for some reason she had wanted to keep him there. Well, he knew that he would be a benefit to any pack, but definitely not that one since they had tried to get him to join against his own will. The nerve! He had half a mind to go back there and really tell them off. A larger part of him, however, realized that was probably a decision that would do absolutely no good for him whatsoever. It was fun to imagine a scenario like that, though.
The tri-toned wolf jumped down from a rock into a grassy patch and glanced around, his crimson eyes scanning the barren terrain around him. A summer breeze ruffled his fur and carried to him the scent of another and he grinned to himself, he did enjoy company, perhaps this may be an interesting encounter. He poked his head up above the rocks and saw a wolf picking their way across the rocks. She looked decidedly feminine, though there was something a little bit off that he couldn't quite place his paw on. He jumped back up onto the rocks and made his way towards the stranger.
Renegade strode up behind the other, his tail giving a few waves. "And what's a pretty lil' lady like yerself doin' out 'ere? Someone might try 'n take advantage." he asked in his usual cocky and self-assured tones, a wolfish grin upon his maw. "What's yer name, kitten?"
