Cause this time's only borrowed

Cause this time's only borrowed,
I got one life and I'm gonna live it right..

Dark tipped ears flinch as the unnatural wheezing escapes the opened maw, a sound that pained his chest to even hear. A bit of concern washes over Dögun, as a feeling of dread creeps into the back of his brain. A forth coming shadow, perhaps just a simple cold was spreading between each horse of the herd, and it effected poor Shiraz the worst. But he could not push the uneasy feeling far from his mind. As his dark eyes pass from Shiraz to Macabre, his concern still lingers. He was unsure of how long she had wandered. Or how long she had been homeless. Unable to find the best grasses to feed her and her growing child. Sadness stabs at his heart, her malnourishment apparent in her sunk in hips and protruding ribs. A sliver of hope remains that she would soon begin to find the nourishment that her body so needed to survie this oncoming winter.

Dögun finds Shiraz's curious eyes lingering on the grullo stallion, but he quickly became bored with his visitor and was soon exploring a nearby bush. A smile spreads across his dark lips, foals, always on some kind of mission. Settling his chocolate eyes on Macabre, the smile still on his lips as he speaks. "No worries, I would assume that he has seen enough of strange faces, for one day." Chuckling half to himself, he understood the young foals feelings, it was difficult to meet so many different strange faces. Dögun had learned such things quickly at a young age, he hoped that Shiraz would overcome this as he had.

Shifting his gaze back to her as she speaks. He was happy to hear that they were navigating through the Inlet. "I am happy to hear that you are getting around, I was worried that it would be difficult for you two. It has been a trying time, with Shiraz's birth, moving into a new herd..." His words trail off thinking of her difficulty but her next words erase any doubt that he had about her not enjoying herself. "Your welcome." As she continues to thank him and telling how lucky that they were, as she speaks he steps closer. His muzzle connects with her shoulder, maybe she would know that he appreciated her being her too. A foal seemed to liven up the herd, little Shiraz, even though he was a bit reserved, still brought life.

"I am just thankful that you chose to come with me to the Inlet. Now you two are safe, and Shiraz can grow up here. Learning the ways of the Inlet, he could even meet the other colt Bastian. He wanders around here with Silver, they could become great friends." As his suggestion ends, his dark eyes fall on Shiraz, still exploring the brush.

ooc: its ok. I have been delaying quite a bit lol. Sooo busy. Sorry for the wait :)
