Vesti
Vesti had stayed at one of the smaller oases that populated Salem. Whether it was in the Desert or Dunes was no consequence. She had missed all the drama that had gone down. She had been curious about Orhan’s reaction to her questioning about the arabian mare. She had needed time to think. She liked Orhan, he was a reasonable stallion. She also hadn’t seen El Aran in a while, and was glad to see the black mare as she approached the Oasis. She smiled.
Ugh, more company and we were getting along so well. Oh do you sever stop talking? I never talk. You know what I mean. And my point still remains.
Vesti snorted and trotted towards the black mare. She gave a cheery greeting and made her way towards the black mare.
“Good morning,” Vesti said as she passed moving towards the water. She would set about for more conversation after she had wet her throat. She dropped her head to take a few sips. She could tell El Aran was tense, tenser than she had been when Vesti had seen her last. “You alright?”
She looked around the Oasis. It seemed strangely quiet.
Damn, this is weird. And I thought you acting pleasant the other night was abnormal. Maybe there’s something in the water. Yeah… I thought you were out of good ideas. Dear Vesti, I am never out of ideas.
She trotted a bit closer to El Aran.
