Stress... Worry, all consumed the perlino, a few days had passed since the herd had found Lyden in his own pool of blood, it spreading in every which direction in the crystal blue lake waters. A picture that haunted her every night, the thought of him dead out in the middle of the lake, floating, sent a sick tinge to her stomach. But for the moment he was safe, he limped noticeably, and needed assistance with the simplest of tasks. She stayed near to him, not wanting to leave his side, trying to offer comfort when his fever would rack his body. But now she wandered, she needed a break, a minute to gather her own thoughts.
She had met the other mares of the herd, but had not quite been able to really speak with any of them. Each of them came to Lyden, they all offered their assistance, just as she had. Her hooves carry her across the clearing but not far, she did not want to venture, Lyden might need help at any time. Flicking her ears, her crystalline eyes search the shadows of the forest, wary of any scent or movement. As her eyes become accustomed to the change of lighting that the forest offered, she carefully stalks through the forest. Ears swivel nervously atop her head, and delicate nostrils test the air with each step.
A movement draws her attention, it was not a wolf, but it was the ebony mare that she had unleashed her pent up anger on. A bit of embarrassent warms her cheeks, she shouldn't of acted in such a manner and this was the moment to rectify her actions. Stepping near to the mare. Cautiously she speaks. "I am Cae... I wanted to apologize for my behavior the other day in the lake. Tensions were high, but I still shouldn't of acted in such a way." Nervously she waits for the mares reply, easily the mare could unleash her fury on her. Her muscles quiver, ready to bolt if she needed to.
