Dögun
We'll ride in the gathering storm
As the grullo's dark eyes pass over the spotted girl before him, she acts strangely by pressing herself into Freya's side. He glimpses her staring out curiously from behind Freya, she seemed to fear him, and he was curious as to why? But she was not soo scared that she wouldn't let them know her name. "I'm Catalan" A pretty name, one that matched the spotted mare. Dark eyes begin to lose their hardness, at this moment it was best that he tried to push the memory of his nightmare from his head...she was scared of him as it was. As his body noticeably relaxes, his hind hoof cocks underneath of his grullo frame.
In a flurry of movement, she begins to nudge the strange object in the sand, explaining that it was a horseshoe... and people? Two legged creatures that walk on two legs? Dark tipped ears swivel forward in full curiosity, this little mare has seen such creatures, he is curious to what else she has experienced. The spotted mare has gained quite a lot of courage for in the next moment, she turns towards him and unleashes her attitude. "Catalan, I am no stranger here in the Inlet. I am Dögun, king of the land that you have stepped into. So I am afraid at this moment, you are the stranger, for now."
Than Freya speaks up, breaking a bit of the tension that was gathering between the pair of horses. Lovely Freya, always looking out for the best interests of others. "I agree, we should head closer to the herd." As Freya turns to head inland, Dögun steps closer to his gilded lady, reaching his dark muzzle toward her shoulder. Her touch soothing the uneasiness that had settled in the pit of his stomach, she would never know how much she soothed him in his time of need.
