"I don't think you have anything to thank me for," he says, and Zhenya snorts softly. "Sure I do." dark eyes probe his face as she speaks. "Lyden and Soljor couldn't handle having me around. I was too much of a handful for them. Or they just didn't like me." She pauses, an indignant frown momentarily tainting her face. "So they got rid of me." she shrugs flippantly, looking back towards the water. "That's their loss, though. Now that you have me, I'm confident I won't be going anywhere." she grins, but gives him a pointed look, just in case. She hopes if he planned to send her away, he would at least have the courtesy to notify her in advance. How annoying it had been to simply be told one day she must leave immediately.

Several moments of silence pass before Felony is moving forward towards the border. She glues her eyes to him, watching him expectantly. She assumes his action means their conversation is over and they will each be going their separate ways. That's how it had always been with all their previous interactions, she only assumes this will be the same. But no, instead, he pauses and turns back to her, his dark eyes meeting hers. For the briefest of moments, a chill runs down her spine, and she wonders if it has something to do with the way he's eyeing her with those eyes. No, she thinks, it must have been a coincidence. That is all.

"Come with me?" He asks, and Zhenya finds herself full of surprise at his request. Her surprise is quickly replaced by a feeling of satisfaction as she nods, offering him a coy smirk. "I'd love to." With that, she waits for him to lead the way, wondering where he was going to bring them.
