I believe it is an African female lioness. Obviously they are not native but a lot of irresponsible people get them as pets. Then they grow too large, become aggressive, too expensive to feed, or all of the above. It's too rugged to be a mountain lion and the head is too large. It has the same walk as an African lioness and appears to look just like an African lioness. The only issue is the tail. It's not long enough. Then again if it was kept by a person, you never know if an accident had happened or it was cut shorter on purpose. But I'm confident it's an African lioness. And don't expect authorities to bring attention to it. Last thing they want is a panic on their hands and citizens running around with guns looking for a lion.
