The lost islands, a place the young stallion had hoped to avoid for the rest of his life but after recent events it was in everyone's best interest that he journey here. Everyone but his mother wanted him out, and it was all for the color of his coat. His 'supposed' father, uncle and brother all had roan coats, as well as his dam. He was the black sheep of the family, a mistake they said. His mother's attempts at explaining had always fallen on deaf ears and Snow had no choice once he was older but to leave.

The young male had been traveling for a while, attempting to settle in other lands other than the islands but it just didn't feel right. If he couldn't stay with his family then he'd go to the next best, or possibly worse, place to be. Traveling under the cover of night had been perfect and he arrived on the familiar shores of the crossing as the sun rose high above him, remembering when he had once stumbled ungracefully all over this sandy beach. A heavy sigh escapes his black lips as his legs carry him away and into the trees. Good thing Neassa had filled him on where to go or he'd never find what he was looking for.

The Lagoon. Snow had been born there, had watched his first fight and had fled for his life at only a few hours old, something no foal should ever have to go through. He shakes his head, short black locks bouncing against his neck as he rids his mind of the imagine of his small leggy self running from the dark beast that had attacked his uncle.

Before long Snow has made his way to the lagoon borders, but it seems he is not alone with traveling to this place. His black eyes roam the shape lit up by the sun. He's never seen such a horse marked like this, having grown use to seeing roan horses all his life. Snow offers a nicker of greeting to the other stallion, who looked to be around his own age. The black stallion steps alongside the stranger, eyes peering into the water.

After a moment of silence, Snow turns his head toward the stallion. "New to the islands?" a simple conversation starter. Snow had never really been good at conversation and he hoped he was doing well so far.
