Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

PILAR seemed unsure at first, disbelieving that the spotted boy was really there. She squinted into the distance and called to him. He would have chuckled if he wasn’t so worried that one on the bachelors was about to descent on him for trying to get her out of harm’s way. His ears swivelled to and fro, listening for the crashing of leaves but he heard nothing but Pilar and his own heartbeat. ”Sure is” he grinned, putting on an upbeat front so as not to frighten her.

THE bald faced boy frowned when she said she couldn’t remember how she got her and he threw a suspicious glance around the trees, positive that some unseemly force had dragged her here against her will. She questioned if it was a dream and he shook his head dubiously, ”No. I don’t think so. Not unless we are sharing the same dream.” He frowned again. That seemed highly unlikely.

MOVING to her side, he nudged her gently, pushing her in the direction he’d come from. ”It’s alright, I remember the way.” he began to lead her back towards the borders of the lagoon where it met the falls. ”We’ll go to the falls, even if this is a shared dream I know we’ll be safe there” and that’s where he lead her.
