Once I.Lake water temps get consistantly in the 80s , fishing is very slow . Many fish such as crappie and saugeye feed at night exclusively. Calmer water with less boat traffic and cooler temp I would expect. Night fishing is tricky and takes practice to be succcessful. Not many people even attempt it. Thats probably way there are few fish posts this time of year. Replies:
