Mornar snorted. "A quest? Pfft, sure," he said to himself as the other wolf ran off. He picked up the tuna he had caught and went after the prospective Frostlin member. "Yeesh, he's a quick one," he noted when he was unable to see the wolf anymore. He would have to rely on the stranger's scent to follow him. "I mean, honestly, what's better than being asked to join a gang? ...Okay, lots of things. But being recruited for a gang almost always gets a 'yes,' I'm sure." He continued to talk to himself while tracking the scent.

After a while, though, Mornar realized that the wolf had gone toward the human lands. "Oh, there is no heck of a way I'm going there!" he growled. "What did that idiot have in mind going into human territory just like that?" He turned around and started walking off when a faint howl reached his ears. Mornar sighed. "He's more of a fool than I am," he muttered. "That's his problem. I'm still not going to..."

Something in the back of his mind told him otherwise. If he could manage to rescue this wolf, Frostlin would no doubt have one more member, and Cerindell would potentially be proud of the Frostlin warrior. But Mornar was not about to go and get himself caught by humans.

His ultramarine gaze scanned the area and found a raven searching for worms in the soil. The dark-furred wolf dropped his fish for the second time and called out to the bird, "Hey, you. Mind helping me with something?"

The raven looked up. "What is it that you need?"

"A rescue team--sort of. My...well, not exactly a friend, but...this wolf was foolish enough to get himself caught in human territory."

"And I suppose you want me to find him."

"Yes. You're a raven. Humans don't get all excited over seeing a raven than they do a wolf."

"You don't exactly look the trustworthy type..."

"If you help me now, I'll return the favor whenever you need me to."

"I can take care of myself."

"All the more reason for you to help. Even if this were a trap, you would probably be able to escape."

"...All right, who is this wolf I'm looking for?"

"All I know is that he's a white wolf. I didn't get a name from him. His scent trail is still fresh, though. Just follow it and you should find him. Plus, he'll probably be howling for help quite a bit. Tell him that you're with Mornar, the Frostlin warrior."

"I am not *with* you, Mornar." She flapped her wings and ascended from the ground to find the captured wolf.

"Meet me back here when you find him!" the wolf called after the raven.
