Westhampton, MA sighting...
IP: 24.128.130.2

Yesterday, when driving West on Rt.66 through Westhampton, a N.E. Mountain Lion suddenly came bounding across the road right in front of me. That stretch of road pretty remote with access to wide tracts of sparsely inhabited country, open flood plains, high hills, plenty of wild game and natural springs to water at.

Nearby POI are Knightville Dam -above-, Littleville Lake and Rt.66 itself. All of it part of a Woodrow Wilson era ACoE flood control project, marking the headwaters to the Westfield River.
