Her soft voice fills his ears as she mentioned his statement is romantic and she liked the sounds of it. A hint of doubt in her usual hopeful and eager voice is caught however before he is able to question her his precious girl admits to being scared.

Frowning Lyden stays quiet for a moment wondering where things had gone wrong between them – when had she doubted anything about him or the forest? Perhaps he is over reacting and notes it in the back of his mind- although for now he feels anger building inside him. Anger that Kasibian caused her to feel scared and anger that she smelt of the common area with the faint scent of another. ”there is nothing to fear my love- no matter what happens we’ll always find a way to be together” Lyden pauses now his voice lowering >that’s if you still want us to be” pulling his head off of her neck he moves away from her just slightly casting his gaze away from her.

”his name is Kasibian, the brute bold enough to challenge for you” Lyden is not sure she wished to know any of the detail or if she just wanted to know the outcome but he figured the least he could do was tell her. ”he lives in rainy ridge, I remember my sister telling she had come across him when he claimed it after her Midas disappeared” Lyden had absolutely no idea that Caesisus had already come across the buckskin and had a very interesting conversation with him – If Lyden knew that not only did ceasisus inform him that she is not sure what she wants, and did not say she loves Lyden or wants to be in the forest – Lyden’s entire attitude would be different and if he ever were to find out; Lyden would be torn apart.

Looking at her again a deep sigh erupts from his vocals ”Cae I need to ask you something and I need you to be honest with me” there is a pause as his heart rate quickens. All of the sudden Lyden is not sure he truly wants to know the answers he is about to inquire in case they were of something other than he hoped. ”Do you still feel and believe we’re soul mates? And do you love me still and want to stay in the forest with me?” Lyden gulps now trying to hide the fear in his gaze ”lately I feel that you haven’t been sure and I feel that’s entirely my fault with being busy lately. For that I’m deeply sorry and I promise it won’t happen again” another pause is taken this time extending out longer ”you are everything to me, and because of this, if you are unsure of us, or how you feel anymore then I’ll let you go – wherever “go” takes you I swear I won’t stand in your way” now he looked away hoping the tears that began to threaten to spill over Caesisus caught before he tore his eyes off of her. ”I can’t promise I won’t ask you to stay though” his last words Lyden tries to lighten up and smile but fails miserably and drops his head down to his shoulders flipping his ears back in defeat.
