Giants
A formidably large word don't you think?
My sarcasm, an easy ship to sink.
I think they’re a species that stink, and come in purple and pink.
We think them thick, grey, and round.
I say “Na!” There are some I would lay, but I’m a hound.
They may walk among us with a thwomping sound, in leaps, and bounds.
Where misunderstanding lay his mighty feet, fear shakes the grand grounds.
A heart will slow to heavy sounds.
And quiet Giant Caskets and big burials mounds.
Behind The Poem:
This poem is from a game I invented, for writers to develop the skill of writing about literaily.
There are no boundaries. No limits. And only a few rules.
1. You need 1 or more person.
2. Pick a word at random out the dictionary, someone's brain or perhaps a hat.
3. It can be any form of poetry any length.
4. And then, you recite the poem out loud or have others read.
P.S. Time Yourself and your creativitycan fluorish.
I mean I am sure it makes no sense but, I think it sounds good.
