Silent people have the loudest minds
As winter laid claim to the lands so did my first year in the forest and the beginnings of a swollen stomach. It was a little funny, the sight of a tiny mare becoming so big. I fear I might become to big if the foal keeps growing so quick. It's a good sign though and a very active child at that. Constantly nudges against my ribs are felt and slight movements between certain times. A mother I was to be, again. My chocolate eyes stayed contently glued to my side as I imagined what the child might look like. Hopefully more like Lyden, instead of the boring black coat I have, but either way I was happy to be given a second chance at raising a foal that would be mine and someone that I care fors foal.
Flicking my head away from looking at my circular shape my eyes scanned the forest. I hadn't seen Gandy or Lyden in a while. It was obvious he was still around, but not as much as he used to. Flicking my tail in slight dismissal of the thought I began to forage. Breaking twigs and chewing on them for some time then moving on to the next round. Sneezing a few times as snow entered my nostrils from when I breathed in.
