Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I NEVER LOOKED back

those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it
Rude? Oh yes, because being dragged away from your home, your stallion, your son back to the place where the most hellish years of your life took place doesn’t entitle someone to be a little rude. The things I wanted to do to him. But I was too polite a lady to do so. I snorted and my ears did not leave their backwards position. At least this stranger took the hint and backed off a bit.

Not enough though.

Yes, he lived here. I had no doubt about that. The Lagoon stallions… I was seriously being very unladylike in my thoughts. But I could worry about that after I had talked with Pilar. I turned my head to nuzzle against Pilar.

“Wha’s rude is yer addidude,” I snapped at the strange stallion. “Cum’n, Pila.” I lightly pressed my nose to her shoulder. “Ye dunna da lis’n da dis fella anew more. Leds ga summa else.” Something was wrong with Pilar. I could see it. If this stallion was smart, he’d let us go our own way. If not… well, my hold on being ladylike was getting slimmer.
