IT'S OKAY FORYOU TO HATE ME

The rain started out as just a fine mist grazing across the forest’s canopy but quickly turned into hard pounding sheets. Lyden not being a huge fan of rain hid underneath one of the many oak trees that offered shelter in his home and this is where he stood for a hour or so. While he did so his thoughts drifted to Caesisus and Kasibian. He felt relieved that Gandy had assisted him in this battle for without his queen he would not have one. The thought made him frown for following that thought came the realization that he hadn’t seen his precious queen since the battle. He wondered if their intimate night together had ended up in pregnancy. Pale lips curve into a fond smile just before he opened up his mouth to call for her.

A return call came just as his own died down giving away the males presence. Lyden instantly froze flicking his ears forward while breathing in deeply allowing it to release in snorts. His chest rose and fell with anxiety as he swiftly moved forward and headed in the direction of the call. Fear struck him wondering if the buckskin man was back trying to coax his precious pearl out of the forest or worse, a new male wanting another member of his family and is here to force her away.

Sweat began to appear on the edge of his neck where it met with his shoulder cascading across his shoulders. Just where his home intertwined with the vast rolling grass valley that lead into the prairie stood a bay stallion whom is covered in peculiar spots. The nameless man had wandered into his home but not very far showing respect for Lyden and his home. Lyden relaxes at the sight as he continues to move in a two beat gait until he gets nearly five hundred yards from the man before slowing to a walk then halt. Soft pinners flick back and forth with curiosity while sky blues look over the man quickly. ”welcome to the forest I’m Lyden the lead here” he pauses ”can I help you with anything?” his tone is mutual, friendly even. All of his anxiety had washed away knowing that this man had respect or at least showed it and none of his mares were around him.
