 Moonshine Raising her head from the grass she had been grazing at, Moonshine’s blue eyes look off in the direction the noise had come from. Ears flicking, she looks over to his sister and gives a shrug. “I’m sure it’s just another horse” she replies unconcerned before dipping her head down to continue grazing. But it only a few more seconds longer before she hears Meradith’s soft voice and against Moonshine raises her head, her own blue eyes meeting her sister’s. “You are normal Meradith.” She says, hoping to reassure her sister. “Mother doesn’t allow it to stop her from what she wants. You just have to figure your own ways around it.” Moonshine had intentionally not answered about their father, not wanting to upset her sister any more about the man with her own opinion. Suddenly movement caught Moonshine’s attention and she swung her head over in the direction the two figures approached. Raising her head to full height, she flicked her ears forward invitingly and gave a nicker in return to their approach. “Hello” she said as a few of the frail brown stems of the grass she had been chewing on falling from her lips. “It is a pleasure to meet you both. My name is Moonshine, and this is my sister Meradith.” As she spoke, Moonshine offered out her nose in a form of greeting. |
