Today, on the Nashua River Rail Trail, in Groton, I saw a Mountain Lion for sure! It was a very large tannish colored cat like creature. It's tail was very noticeably long and it had a darkish tip on it. It crossed from one dried up swamp, then onto the paved trail, then to the opposite dried up swamp. I see deer every time I am on this trail and that's what the eat. Very exciting to see such a large animal like a Mountain Lion, yet the have not been confirmed in the area. As far as I am concerned, once you see one for yourself, you really don't need confirmation from anyone. What an amazing sight! Replies:
