Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

There is no love, just appetite;

There is no love, just appetite.
And it's consequences keep you up at night.

The tawny stallion's hooves sunk into the soft earth with every stride. Moisture bubbled up, seething along the earth's crust, where the roots of each stalk of grass began. It had been some time since Kasabian had stepped foot into the Lagoon, however, it appeared as though the place hadn't changed one bit. Emerald eyes scanned the distance as he moved along, following the well traveled paths of equines that had come along before him toward the heart of the terrain.

Kasabian did not know Rade. He could not pick him out in a crowd. He knew nothing of the stallion, outside of his position within the Lagoon. And the fact that he was the reason why Pilar was no longer in the Ridge. Kasabian didn't really have a plan. He had no idea what he was about to say, if he were to meet the man who'd stolen her away. But enough time had spanned since the day she left to now and he couldn't sit around doing nothing about it any longer.

Wounds that once oozed from Kasabian's flesh were no longer pink and angry. They had scabbed over and were diminishing, crusty reminders of the battle he had foolishly entered -- and ultimately lost -- in an effort to feed his restless desires. Somewhere along the way he'd lost track of what was important, and inevitably, someone took notice and stole from him. Kasabian, having been a bachelor in the Lagoon during his younger years, knew how it worked. He didn't blame Rade -- he blamed himself. But he was here to try to remedy the situation, in any way possible. If only to calm his battered pride and aching heart.
