Ever since Soda was old enough to go off on her own she's never had a stable home for herself. Living with her parents was stable enough, but it wasn't HER home.There had been Hamlet at first, the stallion of the cove with such emotion filled eyes. They had fun but in the end he left her. Then came Asp, a stallion who had barged into her parent's home looking for a place to stay. If her father hadn't already allowed Lyden to stay then perhaps the red dun would have had a chance. To stop trouble from happening, Soda went with Asp, much to her father's dismay. She found him interesting, and he provided good company. That's who her daughter Alethi came from, and she was very much pregnant with the girl when he too left. She had always been on the move, never stopping and had others who easily came in and just as quickly leave her life.
Until Grai.
The chestnut stallion was friendly, and a delight to be around. He also enjoyed Naomi and Alethi. Soda wanted to get to know him more, now that she was certain he wouldn't leave like the others. Looking out across the clearing she can't help but feel very much at home now. This was a stable life.
"Well Naomi is having her very first outing by herself to the falls, while Alethi has stayed here with me. My daughter needs to learn a few more things before i ever let her go off," she replies, looking over her shoulder at the pouting little girl on the edges of the herd.
"I'm afraid im not much of an Authoritative parent," she looks toward Grai, apologizing if Alethi had done anything she didn't know about. Clearly neither of the girls told her of their run in with the pony king again.
