Anxiously Lyden waited for Valentines response while his mind wanders as thoughts move to wondering about Claire and Sirius to when he was just a young boy growing up in the prairie with his family. Lyden remembered playing tag with his father as they ripped across the prairie ripping up grass and dirt behind them. Those were the good days, when he didn’t feel like an outcast or confused on what he should do next. Life quite simply was easier back then, his sister would occasionally visit and his parents took good care of him and the other herd members.

His brow creases as his mouth purses into a grim line ”I don’t understand why he wouldn’t fight for what he had, to leave his home like that and force Claire to go homeless with being pregnant” Lyden shakes his head now with disgust. If he were ever to come across the fire splashed brute he’d have a few questions followed by strong opinions for him. ”I imagine she’ll be back, at least I hope so. Would you mind taking her in if she does? She’s rather shy and this is her second foal. The first one was with a man named Dexter who just couldn’t quite connect with her and gave their daughter away to the lagoon without allowing Claire to say goodbye”

Thinking of the news again only made his blood boil as he remembered his sister explaining the horrid news. He himself would not take any of his children away without their will and when the time came where they wished to go he would make sure that their mothers got to say goodbye and a say on where they went.”have you met anyone in the forest aside from myself, neighbor?” the words sounded weird coming from his mouth but Lyden found that it suited the stallion.
