Silent people have the loudest minds

At first I was tranced by the mere act of watching the foal. She didn't have my boring color, but was the solid of her father's champagne. It was only when a nicker fell from Lyden's lips did I notice another presence and my head shot back to look at the familiar face. I nodded my head rapidly, but shook it in a disagree and agreement to his words. No, she's much, much more. So much more. If I didn't show the exhaustion I sure was now in both my tone and posture. She was much bigger than what I thought she would be, which, explained why the birth hurt more. However, the tears flowed nonetheless in a mixture of emotions. Sheer joy was found in those years, but memories also flooded back.

Taking in a deep breath I spoke again. Very much worth it all... After a few moments I gathered myself together again and went to answer his question. After my mother...Could it be Fleyri? Another breath was taken as I looked at his chest, the wound I had last seen all, but gone. Aiming to brush my head against his neck I sucked in my years again. Pulling away to look at the daughter at her side whom pulled away.

Looking at Lyden with blue eyes filled of curiosity. Her legs wobbled and shook, but she was fur certain loud. As she gave a high nicker towards the stallion. Backing away from them both only a little I watched as she gave a exploratory sniff and huff towards him. A light laugh left my lips as she went back wobbling to my side again and placed herself between my legs. Peaking past them only to observe him and I too went back to staring at him this time a gently placed smile etching my lips. Lyden, thank you. Thank you for everything really... It wasn't what I wanted to say, but fear pulled away the urge to say what I wanted.

So, I looked to the ground in obvious embarrassment. I-I love you... There it was, but I said it quietly as if trying not to be afraid when saying it and letting it show. I do love him, not for giving me a foal again, yes that was a reason, but for everything. Just as I had said and I felt foolish for only just realizing. Lifting my head back up to meet his gaze again I felt my eyes watering again. Sorry for only just realizing... My ears flicked when I heard a drop so I swiveled my head to look under me. Only to find Fleyri sprawled out on her side, little tail flicking as she yawned and her eyes shut.

Ya, I missed this, very much.
