Nothing Set in Stone

Magnus' laugh did little for the woman as he agreed to her somewhat of an insulting statement. Even as he cringed from the sudden movement back she just stared. If she wasn't tired and if a foal wasn't in the premises she would've most likely gone after him with little hesitation. Which would be a sight to see since their size comparisons varied a bit. Although, as she watched the foals interactions with the stallion and his he reacted to her, Elexzra couldn't help the warmth inside her chest. So, when he spoke she was caught aback as she stared blankly.

After registering what he said she bolted back to her sarcasm of comfort. You seem so sure of yourself don't ya now? Maybe she was just naturally a pretty thing. Her blue eyes went over the filly and she feared that she may one day be too much eye candy. Enough for a stallion to take a nip at her and ultimately take her innocence away. With a gentle voice she answered his question, but didn't look up as she did so. Amity... It was a sentimental name, for she'd be Elexzra's first companion and probably her last.

A friendly name for a sweet little filly. Even as the foal fell, Elexzra saw his attempt to help and she studied him in more curiosity than of anger. Still, the black foal seemed fine and so she left her there. Apparently though the foal hated that sand stuck in places and got up after she stood near her. Giving out a complained whine as she wobbled herself up and rubbed her side against Elexzra's leg. Flicking her ears back Elexzra's eyes looked down to the foal as a monotone, Why thank you... fell from her lips. The mares eyes roved back to the stud as he spoke again.

Shaking her head she gave a sigh. I, yes, but it was my job. So, when you're healed be ready fora lashing. She joked until she noticed how she spoke. Her slang from being alone had peaked through when she wasn't expecting it. Ears flicked back to her mental scorn, until, he asked about her being in the bay. Then they stayed glued there as her face showed no emotion. You don't want me to answer that. Was all she said as he told her of what Soljor had spoke to her. Nodding her head only once she held a softer voice, but it didn't hold anything within it.

If others knew what her mother was like they'd see an exact replica. That's some talent then, not being able to find a black mare in a white land, but true I have been avoiding the heard. I also know that Soljor sent you away, he told me himself. She gave a sigh. He was also the second equine to experience my anger. Adjusting her stance Elexzra favored one side a little more than the rest to give it a break, since she usually didn't stand in one place for long. Like I said before I'm as friendly as a crazed wolf and if you think the leopard is stubborn you honestly haven't seen me in action. She aimed to crack a joke, but felt it failing a little. She also nearly jumped out of her skin as she felt the filly nudge against her side finding it's food source again.
