“I’ll help,” Lunarian said as he trotted after his brother, “providing you wash Sol’s mouth out before we go.” Dylan still wasn’t sure about Danny’s idea. If Flynn wasn’t looking for Henry then he probably had a very good reason...right? He cared about Renn, so he must want what was best for her. What if finding Henry wasn’t what was best? He and Danny didn’t have all the information; what if they found Henry and made everything a thousand times worse?
“I’m still not sure about this,” Dylan warned fixing his brother with a curious look. If anyone was going to listen to Flynn it was Danny. “Have you talked to Flynn?” It felt strange to be the cautious one for once. Dylan was used to be the one who acted on impulse and without thinking but this whole mess gave him an uncomfortable feeling in his stomach. It was especially difficult because Danny was finally asking him for his help and it was nice to feel needed for once. Another part of him which felt a little spiteful wanted to refuse to play along and to run and tell Flynn what Danny was planning to do.

Frozen in his indecision it took a while for Dylan to notice that Lunarian had fixed him with a hard stare. It was that penetrating look which said ‘even if I don’t know what you’re thinking, I totally know what you’re thinking, so stop it.’ It was disconcerting on the face of a tiger who still had the awkward and ungainly limbs of an adolescent. He was still growing into himself...Dylan supposed they all were. He sighed, admitting defeat as he took another drink from the cup in his hands, watching Danny intently over the rim. It was something of a relief when Danny revealed his rather plan. It was unlikely to work. Their sister’s familiar had been flying around looking for Henry for years. It had been a freakish coincidence for Danny to meet their estranged sibling once in somewhere as public as The Cove, but twice? What was it they said about lightning?
“When do you want to go?” Dylan asked as he put his dirty glass in the sink .

He didn’t leave long for Danny to answer. Dylan was worried that his brother was going to suggest that they set off immediately.
“How about we get up and go tomorrow morning? I don’t have any classes, how about you?” He glanced at Lunarian who was trying to sneak as far away from Solarius and his stink-bug-stink as possible. Dylan’s lip twitched in amusement.
“If we’re going for the day we’ll need supplies too,” he continued matter-of-factly. His instructors were always very firm on the need to properly plan and equip for missions.
“We’ll need food and water...probably some rope, a compass and a map might be useful...” For the first time in the conversation Dylan managed a grin, “and no, you can’t take any books. You can take your first aid kit though!” A thought struck him, “hey,” he wondered out-loud struck by a sudden thought, “what does Henry even look like?”
