She simply nods in reply when he tells her he has always lived here. It gives her a tinge of sadness as she yet again realises the differences in their upbringings, but also a feeling of relief to know that his wasn't at all like hers. It can be exciting for sure to explore new lands, she knows this is for certain, but when it's constant you can become very lost and consequently have your being slowly chipped away at, in Georgiana's experience, and it makes you grow tired and sore, so sore.
It makes your soul goal in life to do the exact opposite; to find a place to just stop and be content. A place to breathe.
The pale mare stands calmly, keeping a gentle expression on her face and pressing her ears further forward as his words sink into her head. “Ah.” She replies with modesty, not showing approval, not showing disapproval, but overall being neutral, nodding again to show she at least understands. It doesn't surprise her that these are the laws of the islands, having experienced very similar laws on the mainland. As long as she's careful not to step in dangerous territory she'll be safe, so it seems, and she is fine with that, for the moment.
Who knows how the laws will conflict with her in the future, though.
Now her thoughts wander to what the two of them will do next and so with a shift of her weight the mare reaches over to touch Braylen's neck to emphasis her next words; a reply to his previous ones, ”I am so glad it was you who laid claim to me.” Taking into account they're relatively still strangers, she slowly pulls away afterward. She then plants a smile on her pale lips and laughs gently. ”So, where to next?” She is capable of navigating a territory on her own if the stallion has other matters to attend to, but she does hope he can show her more of their home.
