STARdust

Stardust had been going full speed for a while it seemed. Snow flew from her hooves and her eyes were as wide as her nostrils. The slope was dangerous but so was the creature behind her. At least, it was somewhat behind her. Stardust heard her voice and saw her sister out of the corner of her eye. She slid to a stop, leaving large lines in the ground. She looked back at her darker sister.

“Luana!” Stardust’s voice was strange. “Come on!” She bumped her nose against her sister’s shoulder. “We gotta move!” Her ears twitched. The wolves’ growls and the roar of the polar bear echoed through the mountains. It sent shivers down her spine.

“Come on!” She started back towards the well worn path down the mountain. This was somewhat a less breakneck speed. She was still panicked though.
