It seems he lacks respect for you or the borders of this territory. the painted stallion says, and Dixon nods in agreement. Lyden was too cocky for his own good, if Dixon did say so himself. Not only that, but he was taking Cae for granted, it seemed. He was lucky to have such a pretty mare, a mare that many other men desired to have for themselves, and he was tossing her heart and her freedom about like it was nothing to him. Perhaps one day, Dixon thinks venemously, she will be taken from him, and he will realize just how lucky he was after it is too late to fix things.

Find me when you are finished with this... business. the dark stallion says, ripping Dixon from his loathsome thoughts, and he gives him a nod. "Of course." He watches his lagoon brother disappear into the shadows before turning back to Cae. She suggests they finish their tour, seeing as they'd already been caught, and Dixon can't help but chuckle a little. "You're gettin' brave now." He says with a devilish grin. "C'mon, follow me." He says, intentionally leading her away from the area where Lyden had gone towards, not in the mood to bump into him again. He leads her away, still sticking close as they walk further into the lagoon. "So Cae." He begins, feeling slightly awkward as he tries to make small talk. "What brought you to the Islands?" He asks, not wanting them to be silent on their walk.

They walk more, and finally come out on the other side of the Lagoon, where the ocean meets the Island. Dixon stops on the beach and turns to look at Caesisus, a fierce determination ignited inside his dark eyes. "You can go home." He says, his voice gruff and hard. "But you'll see me again, I guarantee it." He is already formulating his plan inside his mind, all he needs is for it to come to fruition - and for the gods to work in his favor. "If I have anythin' to do with it, you won't have to live under his control for much longer." He hopes she catches his drift - she's a smart girl, though, he's sure she will. He only wonders what she will think of this plan of his. Would she even be okay with living in the Lagoon, with him? What would she think of him if he lost? He pushes the thoughts away, flicking his tail irritably at his hocks. "If I happen to win, I won't make you stay here. You can go anywhere you want - s'long as it's not back to him. Does that sound fair?" He's offering her the opportunity to be free, like she should be, to do anything and go anywhere and be anyone she wants - all she has to do is take it.
