Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Fatalé
It was finally time. With the passing of spring into summer, Fatalé knew she could return to the Lagoon at last. The arabian was grateful for the arrival of the warmth as she made her way from her camp in the Falls towards the Lagoon. She checked for Rogue’s presence ever so often. Perhaps there was some sort of blessing in the capture. She had been able to give Rogue some instruction that she’d rather not have the men of the Lagoon overhear. Much like Ravenna, she had informed her daughter of the rules of society. That smart women don’t ever get their hooves dirty - that’s work for men and for mares who are not as smart. Always get someone else to make your moves under your direction.

She arrived at the border of the Lagoon and easily trotted over the invisible line. She turned her head and nickered at her daughter.

“Come on, Rogue,” She said. “Don’t take all day.” She perked her ears and took a deep breath of air. It felt good to be home. She let out a long call. It was meant for Rade and perhaps Léon. She needed to speak with him, and wished to see how Léon was turning out. She suspected well. In any event, she would find her son in time if he were out being a colt.
