Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

MAY THE FIRST BITE YOU IN THE BACK

At the mention of his sire being moody and aggressive, the dun dilly’s eyes narrowed a little “Is he aggressive wi- you?” She wasn’t sure what she could do about it if he was but she was sure she could figure something out. “I don’ even know where Ma, Göndul and Urchin wen-.” she shrugged, changing the subject. ”I’ve no- meh any uver col’s our age, maybe you’re a las- one“ she teased, bumping his shoulder. Any further discussion or joking was cut short by the approach of the mare.

The dunalino snorted at the mares words, her poor attempt at diffusing the situation having been ignored. ”Looks alrigh- a me. I can look af-er myself." She saw nothing to fear in the lagoon, it was just a pretty territory inhabited mostly by stallions. Her blue eyes flickered to Léon as he told the mare to speak normally. While she might have been offended given her own odd manner of speaking, Léon had never commented it which on brought a small smirk to her lips.

The mare scolded him to learn some manners and Geirdriful was on the verge of telling her that she too, lacked manners but the mare continued to berate the colt. The dun filly’s eyes narrowed, wondering if this mare was one of the ones who opposed the fight for equality – if that were so, why was she even in the lagoon? Geirdriful snorted as Léon suggested they leave. The mare seemed needlessly angry and she supposed Léon was right.

She began to turn but the mare’s words cut in again, demanding Léon not to take another step. Geirdriful’s ears flicked back, ”You’re no- a boss of us and wha- are you speaking abou-. We’re a same age” Geirdriful hadn’t had the talk yet either.
