ONLY THE STRONG WILL SURVIVE

M A G N U S
THE spotted boy’s herd was growing slowly, although it was difficult to keep the mares together. Elexzra was anti-social, and Roseriya was timid - although perhaps that was only with him, he couldn’t be sure. There wasn’t as much interaction between the mares as he had hoped, the same problem Soljor had had around the time Magnus first came to the bay. That seemed to be easing off now though and the bald faced boy wondered if time might be all he needed to give them – time and a few gentle pushes.

MAGNUS bobbed his head in greeting as he reached the painted stallion, ears leaning forwards to listen to what he had to say. ”Tell me about it” he chuckled, ”You didn’t tell me foals were such hard work”. He’d known the would be but he didn’t realise how much worse it would be when they were your own. He’d helped out with the newborns when he was a yearling in his sire’s herd but that obviously didn’t fully prepare him.

THE blue eyed boy thought over Soljor’s question, ”Uh, good I think. Shoulder’s healed and everyone’s in one piece” what more could he ask for except maybe a few more mares, some interaction between them and perhaps a Tinuvel heat wave.
