Rules• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. • Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. • All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. • Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. • You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. • Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce. |

She knows breeding season is quickly approaching again. Summer is drawing to a close, and soon love would be in the air for all of the Isles. As the seasons change, Zhenya is faced with a dilemma: to bear another foal, or not? She had hated pregnancy with every fiber of her being. She had felt ill each day, her bones ached and she felt like a beached whale, but in the end, Mikhail had been worth it. He was the perfect son (despite his defets) and she wouldn't trade him for anything. But now her question is: is she ready to give him a sibling? She sighs gently to herself, stepping from the clear waters of the lagoon and onto the small, sandy beach that lines it, the water forming rivulets over her body and creating tiny pools at her hooves.
For several long moments, she ponders her options. She could say yes to Felony's advances, allow herself to conceive again and go through another eleven months of hell hoping the next child will be as worth it as her first was. She knows Felony will want another child, not just because of his drive to pass on his genes, but as per their agreement - her providing him with children in exchange for a place to live. He will pray for another healthy colt. Zhenya, on the other hand, will wishe for a daughter, a tough little girl that she can teach all the things she couldn't teach Mikhail.
On the other hand, she could always say no to Felony. She knows this would upset him. He would remind her of their deal, do everything in his power to convince her to change her mind. He might even try to force her. He might even kick her out, if she doesn't succumb to his will. With winter approaching quicker than normal this year, she could not afford to be out on her own. So, the way she sees it, she really only has one option. Although she knows there is no need to consult Felony about her decision, she has not seen him in several days, and she yearns to be close to him again, to touch him and breathe in his musk, which she found oh so addicting, especially this time of year when his hormones spiked through the roof.
Letting out a shrill whinny, Zhenya stomps her hoof impatiently into the damp sand, the dreads of her tail whipping fiercely against her hocks as her anticipation builds.
