Viserys gave a small yawn as his gaze followed his sister's to the sky, his tail sweeping across the grass. He felt content, out here with Isolde, underneath the huge sky. Someone might find it foolish to be so enraptured with dreams, but the pup didn't think so. Somewhere deep down he knew that Iblis wasn't fighting an army of demons, but he was able to push logic aside for the sake of story. That was it, yeah. To be able to differentiate between real-life and make-believe, but still retain the imagination of a child. Vis didn't think he would ever lose his love of the sky and the clouds, and he didn't think he'd ever lose his love of daydreaming, either.
His teal eyes widened in surprise as he heard the voice of his mother, her face betraying the nature of her words. Vis couldn't help but smile as Isolde trotted over to their mother as she lowered herself into the grass. The white pup quickly followed, laying down beside Rhae and pressing his tiny body into hers. He was growing older but was still very much a puppy, unashamed to show affection for his mother. And he figured they all needed it now more than ever.
He snuggled against his mother as she asked what they had been dreaming of. Viserys giggled as Isolde explained, turning to him for conformation. "That's right." he agreed, his teal eyes shining with happiness. This was happiness for him, right now, beneath the darkening sky. Maybe it would be better if Iblis was here, maybe not- but he was able to forget about the absence of his father in the company of his mother and sister.
"And we talked about how the sky's not lonely, even when it's got no stars or clouds in it." Vis said with a small nod, stretching his tiny paws out in front of him. He was content, sleepy but not tired, and that was really all that mattered for now.
