Peyton smiled up at her sister before looking back out across the lapping waters. She wanted to see where their Dad had grown up too, but was she really brave enough to make the swim alone? She wanted to be so much like her sister that she was willing to give it a try now, but didn't dare say so. Stardust would surely demand to go with her; then how could she prove to try and be like her?
"Dad surely couldn't get too mad at us. We have each other. Its not like we are alone." Peyton replied innocently, glancing back at Stardust. She didn't know about the dangers of wolves or the white bear. Peyton was already so spooky on her own that Fly had not thought to scare her even worse with teaching her daughter of the predators that prowled close at hand. After all, Peyton never left her mother's side anyways.
"Is there anywhere else at least here that is fun?" she asked, wanting to try and find her bravery at home first before making the big plung into the sea. Peyton was ready to go exploring, to see something knew besides the areas the herd frequented the most. Would Stardust even take her to Inlet to see what it was like?
