Hello Mansfield, let me introduce myself. I am Kevin Ruic and I have leased the Mansfield Motorsports Park from Grant Milliron. Having put successful special events on at the facility in the past I have found that I have acquired quite an affection for the area. With this in mind I promise you that I will give you something to be proud of. Recognized as the finest short track facility in the country it deserved nothing but top shelf auto racing and much more. The Park will host six major events over the summer racing season. With a grand opening May 23rd (Memorial Weekend) after several years of no activity. We will play host to the Main Event Super Late Model Series that day and the very popular open wheel Modifieds. To kick off the summer we will cap the evening with a Fireworks show. During the season we will have a Supermodified race, a nationally televised Sprint Car show, a return of our Thrill Show that packed the house in the past, an enormous Monster Truck Show, the Rusty Wallace Driving Experience and somewhere we'll find room for a Demo Derby. We are currently negotiating for a Tractor Pull and believe it or not a Rodeo. There is one other thing that I don't want to forget. I have been told that Mansfield hasn't had a fireworks show on the 4th of July for quite a while. I think it's about time to change that. We are budgeting $50,000 to light up the sky and everyone is welcome. Your choices are spend a couple of bucks, sit in the grandstands and be entertained with a show of some type while waiting for the sun to go down and then watch the sky light up or set up shop in the parking area and watch for free.
