Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

A pirate flag and an island girl

Wearily she had closed her eyes, she tried desperately to will the pain from her body, but stubbornly it would not leave. She heaves a sigh, her sides quiver with the effort of even breathing. She feels him there, his touch like acid against her hide. How could such a thing happened? She had tried to defend herself, it was in turn an epic failure on her part. She closes her cerulean eyes and lays her delicate head back against the bank. What did she have to worry about? Another stallion finding her here alone? There was no damage that they could do to her... She was broken, disgusting. As the minutes pass, the cold water trickles over her body. She can feel the numbness crawling up her legs, she beckoned it, even inviting the chill to overcome her.

A familiar voice prods at the darkness that had enveloped her, Dixon. She flicks an ear at him, acknowledging that he was there, until he begins to speak. Her eyes open to stare at his face, she was shocked to see the reaction on his face. She could see the flare of anger behind those dark eyes, she opens her mouth to speak. "He found me. Before I could make it out of the Lagoon." She speaks, her voice shaky, but she tries her best to remain brave. She didn't even know his name, she would from this moment hence, refer to him as the monster. She begins to shake at even the thought of the dappled stallion, he had came from nowhere. She had tried her best to fend him off, but her fight was feeble. As he begins to appologize, she has the urge to climb to her feet. To stand next to him, to feel his inky hide against hers.

She pulls her legs from the cold waters, slowly climbing to her hooves. She swivels her head away from Dixon, wincing as she finds her feet. It hurt. Standing to her full height, she searches out his neck with her delicate pink nose. She draws herself into his side, pushing her body into his; she needed his strength. "Dixon, please don't apologize." She squeaks out, it had been her fault. "Do you still want me?" Her cerulean eyes fall, she was honestly scared of his answer. Would he send her to the Forest? Then go and seek out some other trinket to bring to the Lagoon with him? She heaves a sigh, pressing harder into his side.
