Dragonmaw

The next thing Dragonmaw knew was that she was adrift in a sea, and she pushed toward the island where Asp had originally driven her. She was uncertain if the dun stallion was still behind her, but she was not about to turn and find out. She knew she had aggravated the stallion enough for the time being and she was more inclined to be compliant to his request that she obey him.

She hauled herself from the sea, shook herself (mostly) clean of salt water that spilled from her and bolted inland. She didn't slow until she felt she had run enough for him to be satisfied. The mare came to a stop in a shallow clearing in the dense forest. She dropped her dark head and grazed. The cuisine was new but not unfamiliar to her. She kept a damp ear out, her blue eyes only glance about halfheartedly. She didn't rely on her vision too much, especially in a terrain like this one, as it was a fun house of different pathways that lead away and to her at the same time.

Her tail remained motionless behind her. It only swayed with movement when she took a step forward to chase her next bite or two.

An age of blood, of obscure memories has begun!
