The inky midnight sky spreads out above the freckled chestnut egyptian, yet it was not completely pitch black. Khonsu's ghostly light emanates, it casts eery shadows on the white sands at her hooves. She stretches her hooves out into a gallop, the sand begins to blur beneath her hooves. She lifts her arched nape out, her dark nostrils suck in the cool night air. Her lungs expand and contract, they fuel her muscles with each stride. Her crimson tail waves out behind her.
She does not slow until sweat spreads from her shoulders to her spotted cheeks. Her breath comes out in quick succession, she exhales sharply, as she slows. She raises her tail up and over her back, as her dark nostrils quiver as a familiar scent wafts in on the desert breeze. Her honey colored eyes scan the dunes before her, she knew the invisible border was close. The scent of Olaf was heavy on the sands, she cautiously steps forward.
She picks up a graceful, slow trot. The anxiety pricks at her chestnut hide, who was this familiar scent? It mixed with Orhan, but she could not successfully name who's this one was. She pauses for a brief moment at the top of a dune, her tail flags out behind her. She spots a chestnut colored horse, she vaguely remembers this mare. All that she knew is that she was in Orhan's herd. A'idah, navigates the sandy dune.
As she approaches the chestnut mare, she tucks her chin to her chest. Her honey colored eyes roll, as she comes to the border of the Dunes, she halts. She reaches her dark, delicate nostrils forward. The mares face was familiar, but she had never mentioned her name that day in the Desert. As their nostrils touch, A'idah emits a squeal. Her hoof lands harmlessly in the sands at their feet. The speckled chestnut backs away from the border, and eyes the other mare.
"Salaam. I remember you, from that day." She cautiously speaks.
