Dedicated to all those who have given their all to a
relationship, without getting anything in return.
Her heartís been setting on a shelf
Tucked way back, out of the way
Beating, beating for all but self
A life somehow on time-delay
All would say "her smile beams bright"
And "here voice is full of cheer"
No one suspects her inner plight
Things are not as they appear.
To know this one, donít trust your eyes
Youíll wind up all confused
To penetrate her thick disguise
A heart probe must be used.
But your reward for pushing on
Is more than you could guess
Touch her so sheís not alone
Then youíll hear her say, "YES".
