The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

Useless ears swivel to and fro atop Carisa's head as she continues to stare at Orhan, the look on her face one of concentration. A gentle hum of appreciation is emitted when his nose brushes against her own after he's done talking, and she follows his look toward the sea and the dark clouds above. She never would have noticed them if she'd been alone. She gives a snort at the storm, ears flicking backwards to show her displeasure. A few minutes pass before she looks back to him, defiantly missing all that he had spoken.

His next set of words however, were not missed and she focuses on what he says. She gives a nod. "Alright," she softly agrees, thinking her words before actually saying them so they didn't come out as a mumble. She turns her body to move inland once more, but stops and throws Orhan a shy look. "Would you like to lead?" While she may know her way around just a little she didn't know the best sheltered spots like he did. There was still many things to learn.

Another flash of lightening lit up the sky, drawing her attention for a few seconds. Carisa eyes the storm over her shoulder, a fearful look to her eyes now. She can remember how the rains were on the crossing island, the trees being whipped around by the raging winds. While there had been cover it wasn't fully safe when there was lightning about and you were under a tree. The Desert didn't have a lot of trees though so she felt a bit safer with that knowledge. The shelter here is what worried her. Would it be totally safe? Looking back to her pale companion she can't seem to form the words and so she ducks her head, ready to follow after him without hesitation. Anything would do just as long as they got off the beach.
